Holes in water lettuce leaves !!

Hi folks !! I noticed last night that some of the newest baby water lettuce plants in my pond have got some holes nibbled in them- I've never had a problem with plant nibblers before- any idea what might be lunching on my lettuce ?? |

My guess would be "something for which you will soon be thankful for keeping your water lettuce population under control." Just a guess. |

Awww that truly DID generate a laugh out loud Stereoman !!! I know what waterlettuce is like mid-summer. I put tons and tons of it in my compost pile every day in the summer..... |
