Have any of you heard of these or used these? please show us if you have..I found this pic online at a local herb garden bed & breakfast place. Bluemoongardens. com
The concept and design are simple: take a beautiful glazed pot, place a pipe up the center of it, put it on top of a reservoir to hold the water, add a pump and you have an instant, movable fountain.

This is something we were thinking about doing instead of doing the garden pond. We have a 100 gallon garden pond form and some sandstone pieces that we got in a trade. I have two cats and four dogs and there are several hawks and eagles in our area. I really don't see us being able to keep fish, lol. We saw some of these on hgtv, from the really simple to big beautiful italian urns, just gorgeous!

Do you plan on doing one?

I just saw it on a site I visited..and thought that it would look really cute out my back door in a herb garden that I am just visualizing at this point. I have to get a lot of things done out back before I actually dig another garden space. I have so many birds, squirrels and other wild things out there lol.

I'm lusting after the glazes! I just learned how to use fired ceramic art glazes on terra cotta pots recently and that would work on something like that, too.
Very nice!

Hi,

I once saw a landscaper design a garden around a disappearing fountain. It was very cool. I would look at different landscape companies and garden stores.

Here is a list of landscape companies that might sell disappearing fountains. Hope it helps!

That is so neat. I would like to have one outside my door just to listen to the sound of water.

Beautiful. We were looking into one of these and found that you can get all of the "components" from your local Home Depot or Lowe's type of store. You just have to be careful that the "grid" you get to set the urn on is heavy duty enough to hold it when it is full of water. I've seen these on several websites and they are beautiful! Good luck!
