I read somewhere that in order to make flower bulbs unappealing to rodents and deer you can soak them in a solution, but I can't remember what the solution was. Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of it. I'll keep my eye on this area to find out, though!

I've heard that soaking gladiola bulbs in a lysol solution (here we go with the lysol again!) helps prevent thrips. don't know the ratio, though.
