whats up with the leaves??

i have pineapple sages an acouple outhers the leaves on the pineapple sage are more silver then green uhh whats with that?? i think my orange mints in there too with more orange leaves but it seems ta be gooin back to green oh an my stevia is gooin to seed should i let it?? --its starting to flower-- i want good stevia thru the season an ponly 1 is startin ta flower i fergot ALL about the cinnamon basil its usially green likr the tai basil is the way i USIALLY id them involves smelling them --there in mottled shade end up gettin ATONS of sun an yea pics show all im also tossin one of kitten fer the fun of it ----is there something wrong with the nutritionb or??? the pineapple sage an basils are in older containers everything eles is in a NEW container with NEW topsoil and new compost/manure mixed in Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

ive grown pineapple sage before--i think its like my 3rd time with it??-- it SHOULD have green leaves not platnm like you see an how DID i lknow the reply would be somethin bout angel?? well im gonna go cheak on my plants maby ill bring more pics of them lookin wierd im gonna water them too edit--oh yea if you can see it behind kitten thats the pretty pink of my room i HATE the color of it an its the reason i willingly sleep on the couch every night |

I too have basil and different kinds. One of my Basils has a white and green leaf. One has purple, and one has a bright green. Your plants look healthy. Now I'm not an expert but I have been planting all my life. Some herbs change colors because of their age or maturity. I wouldn't be too worried about it. But still check it out in a book at the library or something. If you are worried about nutrients put some coffee grounds, or eggshells, or manure into the soil. You can put it on top or you can dig it in just below the soil! sorry this is so long! -mothernatureskid |

You can put it on top or you can dig it in just below the soil! sorry this is so long!-mothernatureskid well i KNOW the cinnamon--or was it tai?? one of them-- basil shouldnt look like that an its the same with the pineapple sage ive ghrown them in past years an its not happened so yea as fer adding stuff to the soil there ALL in pots AND the pots are nearly full from soil and that so how would ya do that?? --the pineapple sage IS full-- --anywho ive trimmed most of the offending leaves off an the pineapple sage is starting to flower ill let it too (well some cause thats how i talked my mom into gettin it before) they "seem" ok sence tho the leaves are in the thing i tioss my scraps an that in |
