mint question

ok well i have 2 chocolate mint plants an 2 orange mint plants that i got from my fave nursery--2 different days--

im corious should orange mint TURN orange?? i have some leaves dooin it right now all the mints are LITERALLY sitting in water

--ok was gonna paste info but firefox DOSENT wanna coperate so its in http://www.milaegers.com/mm5/PDF/berries+herbs.pdf orange an chocolate mint

then also dod my chocolate mint have mint rust?? if so how would i get rid of it an that??preferably free an mostly organic but if theres some product then i guess i could as i had my spearamint get mint rust last year an i absolutely FREAKED OUT over it oh an what causes it too??

I'm not an expert, but I haven't seen orange colored orange mint.

I have seen my spearmint leaves turn partially orange due to rust and disease.

There are organic soaps you can use to handle pest problems. I've used the suds from dawn dish detergent on leaves and then rinsed it off good. I'd try that, it won't hurt unless you go heavy on the soap and light on the suds. It's not organic but better than pest sprays.

once it getts too far ill know if its mint rusty but i dont want it ta get too far--i had some last year i DONT want it agin--as fer the orange mint its alittle less orange sence beein planted in topsoil an that time will tell if its warmer pout i may cheak tomorra--too cold today--so yea (i hope everything survives well)
