I'd like a little more yellow in my garden for summer. I have a lot of blue, pink, purple, and white so it needs a little punch. The only yellow I have is 'Moonbeam' coreopsis and black-eyed Susan. I can't think of anything else yellow besides daylilies.

You just mentioned everything I was going to say, unless you want to pop in some annuals. I found a new coreopsis with variegated leaves - a bit lower growing than my moonbeam and very nice between the sage and butterfly bush...

Hmmm... are there yellow chrysanthemums?? I know there are yellow marigolds, but mine came from a mixed seed packet. Yellow snapdragons?? Carnations?? Or maybe a yellow rose bush. Daffodils too.

Perennials: Tansy- use at the back of the border as it gets very tall (4-6 feet in my case), blooms midsummer. Reseeds easily. Evergreen here in zone 7b.
Santolina "Caroline"- small woody shrub (up to 18 inches) with silvery foliage that stays evergreen, blooms late spring-early summer.
I have pics in my photo album "Flowers". None with the blooms though I cut the Tansy back last fall when I relocated it, and it's already 4 feet tall!.
You can find both in the "Herb" section- both grow fast so a 4 inch pot will be fine
The first pic is the santolina in the front.
The second pic the tansy is in the back, on the right. It will probably get another 2 or more feet taller and wider.

I agree w/ Caroline on the yellow rose. I added a Sunflare rose last year to my garden and it was a nice addition to my pinks and purples. I also have a yellow gerbera daisy, I like the Johnny-Jump-Ups that add a little yellow with their purple and reseed very well.

How about the "Torenia Lemon Drop". I think they are so pretty and they bloom all summer.

How about Mexican tarragon? I wrote about that in the herb section. It makes sweet little yellow flowers in late summer. It's a compact perennial, smells wonderful and you can EAT it!
