Would these be large enough to grow indeterminate tomato plants? I would have them on my deck up against the railing so I would be able to have some good support for them once they get large. |

I think that would work fine. Remember, more water and fertilizer in those containers! |

Maybe that's why my squash and peppers in containers didnt do so well huh? ![]() I already read that I need to use a soiless media? |

I've never used a "soil less mix". Don't know anything about that. Be sure to drill holes in the bottom of your containers for drainage. The dirt will "sour" if you don't. |

You're right about the soil-less mix. It's nothing other than container or potting soil, like Miracle-Gro. Don't use the garden soil in a container. |
