This vine came with a rose that was given to me, and it is going wild. Thanks

John

I believe it's Ipomoea, John. Perhaps I. indica (I. acuminata Blue Dawn Flower) or hederifolia (more weed-like). Both have variable leaf shapes.

I'm leaning more toward Ipomoea hederifolia, Scarlet Morning Glory.

It also looks like the plain green version of Ampelopsis brevipedunculata.

I agree with Told2b. Porcelain berry vine

Very pretty, but extremely invasive.

Yes, Ampelopsis could be it. I hadn't considered that one, as I don't see them around here. I thought the vines were thicker & had a knotty look at the nodes with the leaves, though.

I have always thought of the leaves as bird-shaped.
Headless, but bird-shaped nonetheless.

Yes, told2b, your pic is what I have. Should I pull it?

Thanks John

I have one variegated vine in my yard for the past 7 years.
I like the look of it but it is a pain tracking down
and pulling all the new volunteers each season.
The berries have yet to get bigger than a pea.
And yet I still enjoy this thug.
