I was just wondering...how and when do you collect Rosemary seeds from the plant? |

You want to let them flower and leave them be, let them dry up, then collect the bitty seed pods. They will have them since rosemary is irresistible to bees and butterflies! |

Thanks! My rosemary hasn't flowered yet. Any idea when it usually flowers? |

Mine just finished flowering. It's so much easier to propagate rosemary from cuttings, though. I have found that the trick is the cuttings want friends. Don't just put one in a pot by itself to root. It usually won't. Put in a bunch into the same pot and over half of them will take root. I don't know why, but it works for me every time. I have no trouble rooting rosemary. |

I bought and planted some rosemary seeds about 3 weeks ago, and they still haven't sprouted! |

Does cuttings mean to cut at a branch and put it in some special stuff? Attachments: ![]() |

In my blog I talk about this new home and how anything I put in the ground takes off like crazy. I had never been able to get a rosemary to grow at my old place. I will be cutting this one back, and I would sure love to 'cut' it right to make some more plants. |
