Does deadheading perennials help them to bloom more?
I'm wondering if I should cut flowers off my bleeding heart, or if this is gonna be all there is.

Sometimes they will bloom again but don't count on it. It's an early spring perennial.

Sometime it will help you get a second smaller flush but this is no guarantee. It will however give you a sturdier plant next year as the enegery that would have gone into seed production is put into the the plants root sytem instead.
