Black bugs eating burning bush leaves

I didn't really believe in the hard spray of water technique, but I tried it on my climbing rose. The next day when I inspected it, I found about 5 aphids. One branch went behind the wooden fence and I pulled it back through. That one branch that missed the spray was covered in aphids. Quote \| Reply \| Report

karslinky Joined: 8/28/2004 Location: Upstate New York Posts: 758	Posted: May/13/2008 4:25 AM PST I'll let him know it could be aphids - I've started using an organic spray on my roses - Rose Pharm - there are other varieties for specific uses - cinnamon oil mostly - seemed to work well - I'll have him try the hose technique first!
