They do put a smile on your face, don't they? Especially after a cold snowy winter!

Here are the African Daisies I picked up this week. They are white with purple on the top and more blue and purple on the underside!

AHhhh! the purple lady strikes again. I love those daisys, they are just so sweet. My white with the blue eye has put on its second flush of flowers since I bought it. Just beautiful. LB

Are African Daisies the same as osteospermum? They are just so vibrant! Love 'em! How long do they bloom?

Evonne, I love your pansies. I didn't do any this year. Last year the squirrels pulled up every one of them, examined the roots, and then threw them away.

Oh, yes. Tell us about the African daisy!

That squirrel probably lost a nut.

I am told that the African Daisies will blossom right through to the fall! If only they would reseed or a person could collect seed from them. I am under the impression that they are not true-to-seed. I saw less expensive sets of these daisies, but the petals were not as long or colored quite the way that these are. I eventually went back and picked up the second-to-last pack. When someone saw what I had, they took the last pack right when I was there.

I think it is the same as an osteospermum. They seem to use the terms interchangeably online.
