Rhododendron has bloomed!

Some pics of the Rhododendron that has finally bloomed after six or seven years of only putting out new foliage! And the clematis behind it (third pic) is doing great too!

And all it took was a good rain and some holly tone! In another spring or two, those other vegetative buds will eventually become flowering buds and then it'll really look full!

Lowes and Home Depot should sell it. Espoma is the company that makes it. But if not, try the manufacturer's website here: http://www.espoma.com/finddealer.aspx

That is most lovely! I'm lucky that I can get an azalea to bloom. A rhodie? Forget it.
