walnut ash in my garden

I know walnut is supposed to be toxic to garden plants but what about burnt walnut ashes can i use them or will it hurt my plants? please help |

I wouldn't think so, but I've heard that one shouldn't use too much ash from any wood. |

I would think that burning would have destroyed the toxicic chemicals in the wood, but better safe than sorry, I wouldn't use it
