For most of the books there isn't anything at all wrong with them but they have a black marker line on the bottom or side of the pages (so that you can't take and return the book for retail price at a bookstore). Some of them are "Scratch & Dent" books... but none of the books I have ever bought from them have been in bad shape at all -- and the prices are really good They ship media mail too, so the shipping is very low. I just ordered these books: Azaleas, Camellias & Rhododendrons, New Edition Beautiful Gardens Made Easy Beautiful Perennials Gardening Season By Season The Self-Taught Gardener My total including the shipping was only $36 The retail price on those books is over $70 ( a couple are large, hard-cover books) I need to go double check the forum rules to make sure I'm allowed to post a link first. If I'm not able to, you can send me a message and I'll give you thie link -- they are not books I'm selling, it's just a regular book selling site that I have used many times Editing to add: 3.
