I noticed that some catalogues are selling dandelion seeds. They are nice for salads. To tell you the truth, I cannot imagine growing them all in a row in the garden. Perhaps that is because I don't treat my lawn with anything. Today I came across this photo in a blog. http://geraniosgarden.blogspot.com/2007/05/pink-da ndelions-and-other-wonderful.html Pink Dandelion Photo I noticed a single dandelion plant in my own lawn growing in a perfect circle, with a nice circle of flowers in the center. It really is a lovely plant for those not trying for the country club lawn. |

I have plenty of dandelions.. no thanks to the different colors The people behind us let an acre go to nature and pretty soon a whole acre of dandies will be sending their gazillion seeds into my lawn and garden.. it is a constant battle for us!

The yellow and whites look like fried eggs. |
