The first has leaves similar to a hollyhock, and was green all winter. It volunteered in my shade bed. The second is another "rescue", evergreen, seems to be a small shrub? No flowers- so far... Attachments: ![]() ![]() |

I can't tell what the second one is, but the first I fear is garlic mustard and you do NOT want that. It is an invasive weed and will take over in shade. |

Thanks for the info!! I'll go pull it right away. Such a shame it's so invasive, it's a pretty plant |

I think garlic mustard is the one they're so alarmed about in this area. They've found some in the Columbia River Gorge and they're worried about hikers tracking the seed back into the Portland area. There was a big news story just the other day. |

ROFL stereoman!! I sure don't want to grow something that is an invasive non-native plant- I'm trying to go native in my gardens! |

I haven't a clue to the second one either. |
