I planted my brussels sprouts back in August. Now they are 2-3 feet tall. They look healthy but not a sign of sprouts. I read they are biennial plants grown as annuals and the harvesting period should be between 80 to 100 days, so... they are waaaaaaaay overdue!!! What should I do? I really need the space. Any advices?
thanks
Victoria

My brussel sprouts didn't do a thing last year. Could it be the weather conditions? I don't know. We aren't going to bother with them again.
Pretty poppies.

Those brussels sprouts look very happy! I'd try cutting off the top four or five inches of the main stem if they were mine.

I tossed them today!!! They were Huuuuuuuuge and with lots of harlequin bugs... still no sprouts .
I read that the sprouts turn leafy when too hot so that was probably the case. I will plant them again by the end of summer and definitively I will let you know

Thanks
Victoria
