I went to all that trouble to put up my "spam" joke and now it's been deleted. I thought that it was witty, so I'll just put it up again. I like it with chives and marjoram. Attachments: ![]() |

Witt, you're a card! Don't worry, there'll be more opportunities to bring out the Spam! |

biyu, you never eaten 'spam'? It is that delicious 'mystery meat' in a can. Like in the picture. When I was a young married woman, it was the dinner 'meat' many times, like just before pay day. I actually went to the trouble of heating it in the oven with ketchup/brown sugar over it. We liked it then. I don't think I could even put it in my mouth now. And if I did it would likely give me tremendous heartburn. Linda B Very 'Witty", ms Witt

biyu, someone had posted some spam in the herb section. It stayed there for days and days. Then someone put in a frowny face, which prompted me to comment that this post was spam. The next day the whole post was gone. All my efforts were for naught. I just wanted to put it back since I had gone to the trouble of capturing that picture. It was just a joke. |

Someone posted spam in the herb section? Say it ain't so! How dare someone defile perfectly good herbs with that . . . stuff??!!! When my daughter was young and lived with me, I didn't require her to maintain a vegetarian diet but I wouldn't cook meat for her at home. So we had to go out if she wanted to eat meat. I used to tell her hot dogs were "pig intestines" and defiantly she would make me take her to the Hot Dog King so she could flaunt the entrails in my face before devouring them. I never, ever let her eat spam. |
