Welcome to Garden Guides, neighbor. Well, aren't we sort of neighbors? I'm in SC in red clay. You'll have fun around here. If you haven't done so already, tell us about yourself in your profile. Run up and down the board and jump into some of the forums. They are great fun! |

Welcome to GG from WI, Shannon! It'll be great to have another full-time gardener 'round these parts...I usually don't have nearly enough time in the day to get what I want to accomplish finished out there, and really wish we were in the land of the 24 hour sun. Hard to till the soil and plant seeds when it's completely dark outside once I'm home for the night...Thanks for joining us, feel free to dig 'round a bit, and have fun!

LOL... I'm glad I finally took a break from the garden work to poke about! Hello to everyone and Thanks for the warm greetings! Yes I have lovely red clay here too! I add much compost as possible and some of the clay is actually not so red anymore...LOL I have a few blogs started and a profile so if theres something I missed in there please let me know. I have been gardening since I was a lil girl and still LOVE it! We bought a small 5 acre mini farm a few years ago and recently had our home moved here from another site. So I am working with a fairly clean slate in my front yard. I have some plantings from when we bought the land and have added several more since we finally moved in. |
