Biyu, are you planning on growing plants in the small containers or just starting seeds in them? Keep in mind that there's not a lot of soil in a small container and that will inhibit the root growth. Also, if it goes outdoors, you'll need to water constantly. I've tried growing pansies in small pots and it didn't work out so well. I think sedums are the best choice for small containers. |

I have an old pair of leather work boots that I filled with dirt and planted sedum and hens-n-chicks in. I also have 3 old enamel cooking pots, an enamel tea pot and an old enamel diaper pail that I have used for pots.

I had a pair of old cowboy boots that I no longer wore. I varnished them and used them as containers. They were cute. I don't know whatever happened to them. I don't think I moved with them. Must have forgotten about them. |
