I grow roswes here in Albuquerque and currently have 42 in my yard and have evey shape and size. One on my favorites is the Queen Elizabeth but, I've never seen or smelled a rose I don't like or want for that matter. I also Have 4 flowers beds and numerous othe planters on our 1/3 of an acre. My boss (wife) of 36 years wanted an ENGLISH Cottage Garden and that by gosh is what she has. My yard is zeroscaped with my roses and other plants set among the rocks. My yard is about to explode in color and we can hardly wait. I love the spring but at close to 60 the work is wearing me out but it is worth every beautiful bloom. 20+ years in the USAF a teacher, grand father and a gardener and still taking orders from my BOSS what else could a man want..........ANOTHER ROSE!!!!!!! My favorite rose variety is also the Queen Elizabeth, I picked it out when I was only 7 for the rose garden at our home.
