I recently bought a home and it was before I saw the dormant plants ( Nov.). I have lilies of the valley coming up all through the flower beds and would like to get rid of it since it is intruding on everything else. What is the best way to get rid of it? |

That`s too bad you don`t want them. They smell great! Why don`t you just try to get rid of some of them. |

Surely you can find someone that would like a few of them. Try to find some garden clubs in your area or even a county Master Gardener group. I have a few but they have not done well. After they do their little bloom I am going to move them. Good Luck Linda B |

Dig them up and relocate them to a different shady spot on your yard. Or hold a lily of the valley give-away. I plan on doi ng that this fall with my daylillies since I have numerous clumps that are 4 feet across!!!! Don't throw them out- they are far too beautiful. I haven't had any problem with them crowding out other plants, they just grow around and between them. |

Oh, boy. I wish I had that problem. I can't get any lilies of the valley to grow for me! |

They do smell so sweet! But they do sprawl a bit. I have two clumps and so far they are keeping to their little neck of the woods without interfering with other plants nearby. Hope you can figure something out! |
