Can you post pictures of your set up for hydroponics? And tell us how you raise your plants? It sounds very interesting. Welcome to GG Linda B from SC |

Yoda and hydroponics, that's from outer space where they don't have soil. You're an alien right. Welcome to earth and Garden Guides from a real hillbilly here in Kentucky. We saw y'all landing while back. How many years have you been gardening in outer space on your way here. You have a great day and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Welcome, Georgia, to the Garden Guides Group. Gee. Hot here in SC for growing. Ah, Mr. Basil. Last year I paid four bucks for one basil. Yeah, can you believe that? I took that baby and rooted lots of plants from it. At the end of the season, I let them bolt in hopes of getting some seed. I've been pouring over their plots, but so far I haven't seen a one. Maybe it's still too cool yet. Again, welcome. I look forward to reading about your interesting techniques. |

Welcome to GG from WI, pepa! I'm going to paste a picture of your garden up above my seedling starts to act as encouragement. Those plants certainly look happy and healthy! (I'm getting green with garden-envy at the moment, as there's nothing green here but my poor houseplants, and even they're telling me to quit messing with them...) If you have the time, do take some pictures of the hydroponic set-up in detail? I'd be interested to see it, as would lots of the rest here. I've been toying with the idea of a year-round gardening set up in the basement laundry room, and hydroponics are definitely an interest. Anyhow, thank you for joining, dig around a bit, start a blog, have some fun!

Hi everyone! I would very much like to thank you all for extending such a warm welcome. I will either start a blog or just thread/post like this one. Which one should I do? I plan to continue to update through out the season. can I do that with a blog? Also, is there a certain section in which I would start it? This site is a lil' different to me. I was a member of the peppercenter a couple years ago..lol I also plan on giving some how-to advice on building your own system and growing for those who are interested. Should be a fun season and an enjoyable journey, so stay tunned...lol. Im actually building two new units this weekend so I'll snap some shots of the steps. Keep em' green folks, HP |
