Someone on Garden Guides made note of Dearness Gardens in NC This is where I met my sister for a day visit yesterday. She lives in the Winston Salem area. This is a quaint little garden center. They carry lots of locally handcrafted items. From the critters made out of steel parts of bikes or farm tools to beautiful glass balls and pottery. Plus they have a large assortment of beautiful plants. It was a cold rainy day but we really enjoyed walking through this nice center. Linda B Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Wow, it looks like a place chock-full of fun. Yardgranny, I don't know if you saw the note that I sent you somewhere on these many forums. I'm still getting used to the layout here. Loads of things to read and see. Anyway, I had mentioned that I was born and reared in Lake City. I'm well aware of the beauty of Florence. Just thought that I'd say, "Hi, neighbor." |

Such beautiful pots, and so many things already in bloom, I'd have fun there no matter what the weather. Thank you for the pictures! |

OH I am so envious. Ours can't even have outside stuff yet. It is finally starting to warm up slowly though. There is still hope.

Don't feel too jealous, it was really cold and very rainy and wet. But you can't keep a gardener out of a place that has plants. LB |
