Does anyone know of a self-pollinating blueberry? I know some cherry varieties are self-pollinators.

Also, does anyone have a favorite (self-pollinating or not) variety that is nice and sweet and yields a lot of fruit?

Well, I haven't received them yet, but I have ordered Bluecrop and Patriot blueberry bushes. I think bluecrop is supposed to be pretty sweet, and a heavy yielder once established-15-20 lbs. Patriot is supposed to be tart. I guess I was thinking Patriot for jams/syrups, etc. I'm not sure which varieties, but some are supposed to be self-pollinating, but yields are still increased with another variety.

I'm hoping to order some blue crop and Jersey blueberries this week (budget providing lol). I love blueberry jam, but I've never made jam (although I'd LOVE to learn) so I'm sticking with sweet varieties. My husband is also wanting a raspberry plant.

I don't know whether you got an answer to your question or not. In reading about them, they're all self-fruitful. However, by growing a cross-pollinating variety, you should get bigger and more fruit.
