I grew up gardening with my mother in Ohio, but central Texas is a whole other world for plants, so I've got lots of experimenting to do! I'm a lover of herbs for cooking, and a beginner vegetable/fruit grower as well. Oh, and flowers are nice too - when I can fit them in around the edible stuff. My daughter lives there, and loves it. Container gardening is so much fun nowadays, there's so many varieties that are designed to be compact. Get rid of that grass! Bust that turf! Grow colors!
