Has anyone experienced a wisteria vine (bush) pods giving off a popping sound? Last week my neighbor called the police because they thought someone was firing a BB gun. When a search was made the police left laughing when they figured the sound came from the vine. This vine has been in the yard for over 40 years. What would cause this to happen? My location is in MA. Thanks |

I have a wisteria, and when they get ready to yeild their seeds, they pop open. One year I brought them into the house in a paper bag and hung them from a string and hook by a window. It took about a week or so and as they started to dry real good those crazy things were popping clear out of the bag and over the kitchen!! |
