Yellow Jasmine

I have a yellow jasmine that has gone wild. Long, ugly shoots coming out all over the plant. Cutting them back does not help. What am I doing wrong? Should the entire plant be cut back each year? I am about ready to dig the whole thing up! |

Does it not flower for you anymore? I may be wrong but I'm under the impression that all jasmines are vines (at least mine is)and it goes everywhere. What I did with mine was tie it to a trellis and let it go. But I have the room for it where I planted it. Would you be able to move it to a better spot for you? |
