Anthurium

I swear, it just followed me home! OK, I just had to rescue it. They had so many squeezed together, and in a place where they were getting brushed against from foot traffic. I dont know a great deal about Anthurium, but have been doing some research on them. I hope it will get enough light here. The leaves are a bit yellow, I read that too much light can cause this. That is a fine looking anthurium. Used to have one but it was treated rather badly, I think . Did see that temps below 40-50F can cause yellowing of the leaves but from your pic, most leaves look lovely & glossy.

Thanks, I have to admit, she got a bath as soon as I got her home.lol. Standard procedure for me....I flush the pots and wipe down the leaves with a soft damp cloth. I also discovered that like African violets, the have brittle leaves. I cracked a couple. But I needed to remove some of the damaged growth anyway. Hopefully it will be happy and green up for me.

Never saw them before, lil but it looks good and I love those hot pink flowers. Good luck with it. |
