As stated in my Blog I wanted to get with other vine people and see what you grow and why you grow them. Where you grow them. Sort of Where When Why What and Who !! I grow Morning glories and Cinnamon vine, Sweet Pea vines, tropical, annual, perennial love them perennial vines. I love vines as you can put them anywhere and usually they will grow for you. My daughter who is learning disabled can put them in baskets or on a fence and there you go beauty in the making. Yes I want to be the Milk Weed Queen of Indiana!! I grow them for the Hummingbirds and the Butterflies and it relaxes me to see blossoms that I put seed in the ground and grew!! I live in Indiana I am a Zone 5. We have four seasons, Winter almost spring kinda spring and then hot summer, I live on 5 acres of wonderful land. So tell me about yourself where you live and what you grow!! and thanks Andrea your first LOL Carol |

Hey Milkweed Queen to be, I have no idea what that looks like-will Google later. I love vertical gardening and have many different vines. My sweet friend (mosaic2007) started me on Cup & Saucer(Cobaea scandens) years ago, great annual in these parts, she also bought a lilac vine for me-grew for a few years. The best vines for me have been the C.armandi and many varieties of passiflora, hydrangea (2 varieties) several honeysuckles and some huge wisteria. I like annual vines-Gloriosa superba, Mandevilla x amoena Alice du Pont and several foliage only vines are widely used in my garden. Thanks for starting the vine topic~Andrea |
