If they are spring blooming bulbs, plant in the fall. If they are fall blooming or summer blooming bulbs plant in the spring. Any bulbs you purchase will arrive at proper planting time, with planting instructions, so you can't go wrong!

I have a question!
I was told I could pull up my Daffodils ( to move them ) and put them in a brown sack in the fridge ( which I did) Then plant them back in the spring? Is this true???

Daffodils are pretty hardy. I have dug them after flowering, and then immediately replanted in a new location. Mine have had no ill effects from this. I did this before summer, so it wasn't blistering hot out.

Daffodils will become crowded in a few years and only produce a few blooms. It is always a good idea to dig them up after the blooms die and the tops bend over and separate them. You can replant the larger bulbs and discard the smaller ones if don't have any more space. I usually do this in mid June in zone 6. Tulips, I dig up in July and store in a cool place until replanting in October/November.

You have a great day and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell

So, in my zone 4 I could dig them up after flowering and move them? I have some that have never bloomed because I think I planted them too deep. I have been talking about moving them for 2 years but still haven't done it!!!

I would replant them before spring if you want spring blooms.
