Has anyone tried them?

I am thinking they would be good for me as I am terrible at watering my containers in the summer. And they are pretty to boot!

They're pretty but they don't look like they'd hold enough water to water a good-sized plant. It doesn't say what pot size one globe can water.

They are very pretty but I'm like Sweetle, they don't look like the hold very much. I have done the same thing in the past with 2 liter pop bottles. They don't look as pretty but provide more water. For in-ground plants I have also used a 5 gallon bucket and drilled a small hole in the bottom of it (I am thinking it was 1/4 inch drill bit I used) and sit it next to your plant and fill with water and it waters the plant as the water slowly drains out of the hole.

If you like pretty, use several in a container~just a thought! I use a lot of blown glass throughout my garden, love it~Andrea

Darn it!! I was just at Walmart in the Gardening section and I forgot to check to see if they had anything similiar so I could get 1 to test.

i know kinda costly but couldnt you find a semi-local glass blowing place an taks classes (ours is called the hot shop my uncle is the family master or so) like i said expensive but then you choose the size you choose the color/frit (small glass pieces used ta color things) an yea entirely custom

outherwise id have ta take a better look at the commertial i saw they "look" good and in the commertial i saw looked ok in size but beein me id rather if my uncle made mine like i said entirely custom

I bought some years ago from LTD. What a waist of money. They were pretty but hard to fill and broke at the least bump. Save your money!!

I, too, have seen them in catalogues. That was my first thought. They look too fragile to me.
