I went out to look at my tulip bulbs yesterday and they were just laying there on top of the ground. Some of them had started sprouting , but most of them had rotted. They were my big red peonie tulip. I could have cried. I replanted the ones that were sprouting, but I don't think they will put on a show like they did last year. I'm wondering if maybe the ground had froze and thrusted them to the top since there was no sign of anything digging around them. |

Wow, I do know that can happen...does anyone know if I took bulbs OUT now if I could send them anywhere? I have some coming up that I do NOT want...you want them? |

Sure you can take them up now. They may not bloom this year but they will be beauties next year. I will gladly take them off your hands. I planted some tulip, hycinth and daff. bulbs today. Some of them I bought and I moved some of them. If you still want to get rid of them PM me and I will send you my address and pay for postage. Thanks in advance. Meg |

goshmeg, you can get into the dirt now?? Thats great.. we still have snow/ice on the ground, with part muddy or half/frozen soil beneath. Have some fun for me will ya? sorry about your peony tuips.. sounds like they got heaved out of the soil.. might want to put heavier mulch on that area after you replant! |
