I know this isnt the place for something like this, but I really had to share this. Back in 1985 my mother abandoned my brother & I. We got separated the day after Christmas in '85. Ever since then I have been trying to find him. Well, in 2004 I did find him & we went to Louisianna to see him. It was a really stressful meeting & we weren't able to maintain contact due to his (now ex) wife. Last weekend he came to visit me. And we were able to make a real connection & talk about the things that happened to us at the time and in the years since we have seen each other. This is our first picture together, very impromptu (the way I like 'em) I know it doesnt mean anything to ya'll but it means the world to me. So.......if you are ever looking for someone, pm me and I can give you the name of the place that I went to that actually gave me results. He turned out to be one the of best men I have ever known, due to his own perseverence. God works in mysterious ways. Thank God!!

Aww, ya'll are so sweet. I sure didnt mean to bring tears to your eyes bensmom. I feel like I am truly blessed, and I needed to share that with ya'll. I have come to think of all of ya'll as friends. Even though we really don't know each other, I have been inspired by everybody on this forum @ one time or another, so I had to share my good fortune. P.S. We are dressed that way because we had an impromptu bonfire. We didn't know he was coming and we were out in the field. He just drove right up. It was great!! Thanks ya'll. I appreciate being able to tell you about this. Kris |

First, I want to scold you for not thinking this is the right place to post this. As far as I am concerned you could post a story like this anywhere you please. I recently updated my profile and left out one of the positive things that happened in my life. While I was stationed at Ft Lewis, Washington, I had a country western band and met this couple that told my wife and I about a couple of baby girls that had been abandoned and abused. We left the club and followed them to this house, we could not contain ourselves we loaded the girls up took them home got a JAG and in six months time the two little girls carried my last name. They are now 32 and 34. I dont know how to rewrite my profile there is not enough space. Congradulations; John |
