Anyways, this forum is a dumping ground too so I knew you would look here! DO NOT let them grow alone! in other words something WILL eat them. Squirrels, raccoons, I don't know but something (too cold for most the baddies right now) thinks they taste great! Cover them. Cold frame them, start them inside in a cool room...anything. Once they establish they will be there forever but I did learn the hard way, second round was different (I just wanted to make sure they sprouted, and oh, do they, in abundance, then something ate them, then I covered them with a pyrex pan, haha). |

Thanks for the heads up. I am going to put mine out very soon. They have had a cold strat. in the fridge for awhile now. Can't wait to see those beautiful bobbing blooms! |

Hey ~ thanks for the tips! Mine are already planted and if something's gonna get eaten, it's gonna be in my yard! The deer already chewed the tips off of my tulip trees, and squirrels/rabbits vs. Kelly is currently at 856 - 0. I like the pyrex pan idea! |

Thanks! It's going to be awhile before they get in my ground, but I'll try to remember that. |

Hey Rachel, will they grow in the Frozen Tundra that I call home? I would like to try some if you would be willing to share. |
