I live in a rental house, and have read SO many ways to do so. I need to do something that does not need to be compact but it really needs to be transportable. I read about the rubbermaid bins, but then is all the sifting, and whatnot. Anyone have a better method?

My former housemates had a very small wooden worm tower but then expanded into big rubbermaid bins that they kept in the basement. Not sure what their technique was, but they had tons and tons of worms. All I know was that I would dump my kitchen scraps (no citrus, no coffee grounds, not animal products) in there. They were big online researchers so I'm sure you can find something online about doing worms in big containers.
