Just wanted to let everyone know about an organization that Debstr mentioned in a blog comment. It's called http://www.WinterSown.org They have two offers that I noticed. If you mail them a SASE, they will send you 6 different varieties of seeds... I guess flower seeds. For another SASE you can get 6 different varities of tomato seeds. I put my SASEs in the mail today.

Well... I got my seeds from WinterSown.org. In the "tomato pack" I got...

Tomato Blend
Lycopersion-Lycopersicum Tomato Imur Prior Beta -- Cherry indeterminate
Bonny Best Tomato - 8 oz.
Chico III Tomato (paste) 3 oz.
Castoluto Genovese (Italian heirloom) 5-7 oz.
Italian Market Wonder (Disease Resistant European Market tomato)
Nichoson's Yellow Cherry (Beefsteak shaped yellow fruits, good cropper)
Orange Banana Tomato (2"-3" golden-orange pastes)
Black Seed Sunflower (height 6 ft. +)
Sweet Keeper Squash

In the "Six Pack" I got...

Cucums Satumus (White heirloom cucumber)
Corne Di Toro Sweet Pepper (Italian heirloom with 6"-8" long and sweet fruit)
Blackberry Lily height 36"-48"
Halberd Leaved Marshmallow (White to Pink blooms 48"-60")
Scarlet Bee Balm (36"-48")
Black Eyed Susan (2'-3')
Datura-Devil's Trumpet 48"
Wave Petunia Mix
Northeastern Wildflowers
Cherry Tomato Trio --Santa, Peacevine Cherry, and Tiny Dancer

Phew... that's a lot of seeds. And they came about a week after I sent the SASEs. I have gone through them and was planning on sending some of them back, because either I already have these seeds, or I just won't have any room for them in the garden. Maybe I should just toss 'em in the seedbox?? The ones I'm sending back are...

Tomato blend
Tomato Imur Prior Beta (cherry indeterminate)
Bonny Best tomato
Chico III tomato
Nichson's yellow cherry
Orange Banana tomato
Black Eyed Susan
Datura
