Very nice Angelsgarden! Mine are not doing too great 'cause the ground squirrels or birds or whatever ate a bunch of my plants. haven't had time to protect 'em. I knew this would happen when I starting to work. That's it I'm quitting my job!

Angelsgarden where are you? Show off time! Where are yours? My soybean & carrots! There are more but tough to take picture so all can show in one picture. I don't think my eggplant survived, at least I didn't see any leaves.

ooops, i posted my soybean in the wrong post KINDA Did I tell you all????.....After I planted all the veggies in ground, I put dirt in the bag and placed my soybean seeds in it. The roots were getting too big & it was still too cold to plant them outdoors. Sooooooo i grew 'em in the bag until i planted in ground. the reason why i forgot and posted the soybean here, sorry.

Sorry, seem to have forgotten to subscribe to this thread. I don't have pics of everything. I will take more tomorrow. Here is what I have right now. One of my baby tomato plants, not sure if it is a Roma or Cherry....got them mixed up . Next are some of the Coleus that I started. I have some planted in 5 pots and a bunch in the ground. Hope they do great, I love them! Last pic is the Wave Petunia, not so happy with those. As you can see they didn't do so well. Most of them sprouted, some took longer than others. After they did sprout some of them went down hill fast. I finally just put them outside and let nature do what it would. The ones that did survive look good though. I guess you can't win 'em, all right? I will try to update more later.

ooooooo how cool Angel! Yikes missed this too I think or maybe left it to reply some other time & forgot. Don't remember. Guess I can say for an update the "green house" terraniam worked well but after I planted everything outdoors they got eaten up! The silly rabbit ate the last of my carrots. Hubby & I shared a tiny carrot (it was sooooooo cute )& it bursted with flavor. Never tasted a carrot like it before. I'm soooooo happy you all got me into planting my own veggies. it's so worth it. & I'll do it again soon. I'm gonna try for a big green house for our new home but I aint holding my breath. So I'll probably do this & or use something similar again. The bag worked real well if anyone decides to try it!

Here are some pics of the Tomatoes and Peppers that are doing good. You can see that the one Cherry tomato plant is like 6 or 7ft tall. I stacked 2 tomato cages to support it. I have 3 other plants that could have used the same treatment but I ran out of cages, so they are just draping over the sides of their one cage, almost to the ground. The Brandywine tomatoes started getting really sick looking so I pulled that one out so it wouldn't spread. The peppers are just starting to really take off. None of the Eggplant made it into the ground because I was working. They perished , oh, well, maybe next year.Oh, and the dill did good. Its all almost done now. Lots of seed heads. Here are some pics of the coleus, that I love. I have trimmed all of the flowers off of the ones in the pots so the plants will stay standing up. All of the plants in the ground though I left all of the flowers, there are alot. The hummingbirds and the bumblebees love the flowers. Some of the wave petunias that made it have given us pretty blooms too. I certainly will use the little bags again for starting seeds. Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
