Maybe by the time you get it taped up you will see sprouts, you will need to let air in then anyway

I already see sprouts & that hairy ugly stuff which collects on plants/seeds! I don't know why 'cause It hasn't been completly sealed from the start as you can all see from my updates.

EDIT: I'm taking out the apple, I'm not taking the chance. Anyway, I wouldn't be able to know if it works for sure unless I had two bags ...one with and one without the apple.

As in one blog I wrote I am making a mobile plant cart out of an old cart found in my garage...so I looked up plant carts and I found and saved some pics.
I think that your bag idea reminds me of this cover you can buy so wouldn't it work for you the same way only smaller scale?

I picked up some of that type plastic in the remnants bin at Joanne Fabric during one of my fabriholic rampages.... now if I could only remember where I put it.....I was thinking better duct tape might work, but that might hold too well. Blue or purple painter's tape might work or the semi-permanent, repositionable scrapbooking tape might work. How about stratigically placed pretty clothespins even?
Super neat idea!

Here they are bugnut. Wondering if I should post them in the vegetable section yet? Or is it too soon heehee.

#1 Carrots (I put too many seeds in one . Should i get rid of the weak ones or wait?)

#2 Chives

#3 Eggplant (sticking it's little bitty tiny head out)

I'm using Tam-Tams blog about Terrariums as a guidline. Thanks for posting Tam-Tam! Wish I would have seen it sooner.

The others I planted (bulbs) are doing ok. I see roots and leaves. The "sticks" were doing great until I moved them around. They are starting to die but I don't know what will happen to them yet.

I've given up on the tape. heehee bugnut I think you knew all along didn't you? I zip up the bag at night and open it all day. Works just fine.
