Okay. It's January and we are having 60-70 degree weather (this week) here in H-town. Gotta love it (not really). I am itching to start my herbs, though. I'd like to try starting herbs from seeds. I plan on using an aquarium as my herb/veggie nursery. I read in a past forum that I should be able to find a "grow light" at Home Depot. Correct? I live in a townhome, and our best windows are on the wrong side of the house in January. Our patio won't get any sun until the summer sultstice....Any advice on the best herbs to start from seed, or is the sky the limit? I do want to try some companion planting....One of my neighbors uses our "yard" here in the complex for all of her plants, so I might be stealing her idea....to increase my possibilities. |
