I have been growing elephant ears for a couple of years and just stumbled on to this new one. It is the malanga. I want to grow the one I have started to the size of this photo. John Attachments: ![]() |

No Ron I have not tryed ginger but you can bet I will now. I dont know if you have seen the photos of my EE's which I have grown to 9ft tall and 4and 1/2 ft leaves. I use a lot of horse manure and shredded oak leaves and then of course lots of water. I have been so bored this winter because I couldn't be in my shop. I am looking for something to grow in the house. John |

yardgranny6, I have sat myself down and had a good talk. I will live to grow the seeds and plants that have been supplied to me, if I didnt, what a waste. John |

Have you ever tried gunnera, John? That's popular up here. It likes moist soil--I can't remember if you have a natural pond. |
