Hello Dawn, Welcome to GG from the shores of Lake Greenwood, SC. Sounds like you have a wonderful family & you will be a very welcome addition to our gardener's site. I, too, have a very wonderful family with two girls, one has a Masters Degree from MUSC of Charleston, SC & is an OT in the critical care unit at the VA hospital in Augusta, GA & the other one has a Bachelors Degree from Lander University & is a Business Administrator in an assisted living care facility here in Greenwood. They both are married, one for four years & the other for two, but don't have any children, yet. They graduated & secured a job before tying the knot. I only have a grandkitty & a granddog that they have & I do pet sit when they need me. I am a huge animal lover!! I have a wonderful hubby that pampers me as well...nice.... I am an outdoor person, too. I live on the lake & love to fish, work in my garden (flower & veggie), cut grass, work in my greenhouse, & my craft/tool shop. I also have a sewing room in the house for winter time projects when I can't be in the yard working. Sounds as though we are birds of a feather & very happy individuals. I am very thankful to the good Lord for my family, health, & the countless blessings that he has given me. I feel that one with nature is one with God & try to preserve as much of nature with my crafts. Mother Earth provides the nature so we only have to open our eyes to appreciate the beauty. Hope that I haven't talked your ears off for your 1st visit on GG. Happy New Year & glad to have you aboard. gimlet |
