Hello and Happy New Year! At the advice of the friendly gardners here, I am stopping in to introduce myself-the Quilted Gardener from Connecticut. I have been playing with gardening for a while now and jumped in head first seven years ago-first with flowers and last year added veggies. Our yard and my gardens are always a work in progress. I look forward to reading, learning and sharing here. |

Welcome to you from Australia & a Happy New Year to you, too. It is summer here but at the moment it has been raining for days. So much for sunny Australia

Welcome, Susan and quilted, to our humble home! Thanks for joining us, and feel free to dig around, nose into any forums you are curious about, we don't stand on ceremony, only on muddy ground in the spring, keeps the laundry bills low...

Let me add another welcome!! I'm an upstate New Yorker who grew up a stone's throw from Connecticut! I can even spell it! But can you say Oregon? Oregun, not Oregone. That's how my sisters in Massachusetts and lots of easterners pronounce it. So, glad to have you join us, and have fun exploring the forums! |
