when is the best time ? mines gone abit mad this year and neglected im ashamed to say. its only small i had masses of flowers last year but had to cut it back hard as we had new windows fitted and it was in the way. this was last july. does this mean i will have no flowers next april? advice gratefully recieved

Valery, I have a mean old neighbor who seems to hate flowers of any kind,she takes her clippers and reaches over the fence to lop off any and all trendils she can reach.I used to get really angry about this, but found that the more she cuts my wisteria, the more it grows back.My point is don't be afraid to clip this plant.Mine is very hardy it seems.Any pruning not done by "old meany",I do in the fall.Hope this helps, Cheers, Grannylee |
