Wishing everyone a truly happy and blessed Thanksgiving Day that continues throughout the holiday season. It almost sounds trite to say how truly thankful I am for GG and the friends I have here since it gets said again and again and again by so many people; but the fact is that that is simply the reality of the situation, and it comes straight from my heart as I'm sure it does everyone else's who has posted that same comment. And recently, I've seen it posted quite frequently. It's amazing to me that there is a site where there truly exists a family spirit. When doing internet searches, I have by accident landed up on countless forums of countless varieties, not just gardening,( which is BTW how I landed up here and stayed  ). Not a single one, literally, shows any connection of the family spirit that exists here. Most have no family spirit whatsoever. They seem more like disconnected talking icons. GG is truly a blessing in my life, but of course, GG is GG because of the people that "live" here. You are all such wonderful, caring souls, uniquely special in your own individual way. And I am not speaking merely of my closest friends with whom I am in contact almost on a daily basis. I am speaking of many of you whom I've never "met" or communicated with directly, yet I feel like I know you and love you and appreciate you, as well, because I "read" you. And what a large family we have here that extends around the world!! Where or when would I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know such intersting people? I have now "visited" Indonesia, Australia, England, China, Bali, South Africa, not to mention states in the union I had never been--you name it, I've walked in your gardens and had the loveliest times!!! Thank you all for sharing, caring, and being YOU! You all have a seat at my "special" Thanksgiving table tomorrow. May God richly bless each and everyone. |

meska....what can I say, but ThankYou! You have me reaching for the tissue box!!! That was truly lovely and I feel the same about being here too. I have been working alot lately and have missed spending time here with my GG friends. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!! |
