I cut my mom's vine back about a month or so ago and it's got a ton of little ones on it now. We made grapevine wreaths for a strawberry festival at church about the same time. Now I'm letting the vines grow-- even the annoying wild ones here -- to give to a couple at church that makes sleighs and reindeer out of them. If the vines get dry she just tosses the bundle in her pond for awhile and lets them flex up. We don't have edible ones until about October. And we're in wine country Ohio. Lots of vineyards here. |

You will get grapes but it will take time. Atleast mine took a lotta time to show themselves & took some time to taste good. Photos of what mine look like now. More bad pictures but they will be the last I think 'cause of the move. But I'll be planting some @ the new house when the time is right. When is that by the way? Anyone know? Birds or whatever planted the pictured ones I didn't! we added the supports & ate 'em. Ate the grapes that is.
