I'm a a stay at home, empty nester with just me and hubby so gardening is a favorite past time for me. I've been gardening for years. I guess you could say that I just love digging in the dirt. Every Spring I plant a huge vegetable garden and have boo-koodles of flowers and plants. I'm not good with remembering scientific names of plants and such, common names are enough of a challenge for me!! Some of my flowers are hydrangia, gardenia, roses, lantana, butterfly bushes, cannas, lilies, iris, daylilies, datura, brugs, clematis. Gosh... I could go on and on. I have a long growing season here but now that the weather is cooling a bit, I have a little time on my hands for reading all the good info posted by the members here, althoughhhh..I do have collards, mustards, kale and turnips planted in my Winter garden.
