hi inuyashalover21 ,

I'm pretty sure that you'll need to keep the blueberry seeds in the fridge/freezer for a couple of months before you plant them.

Where did you get your pomegranate seeds? I bought a pomegranate at the store, gently chewed/sucked all of the juice off a handful of seeds, soaked them for a couple of days (changing the water at least daily, and then planted them in a flat in some potting mix. I then put the flat on a seed warming mat. So far I only have a few, but I'm expecting a lot more. I'll be posting pics soon.

I've never planted asparagus, rhubarb or pampas from seed, but since they are all cold hardy, it wouldn't surprise me if they also wouldn't benefit from spending some time in the fridge.

Good luck, and post some pics of your work.

Regards,

Robert

Do you have an idea how long it takes to get fruit?

Hi Inuyashalover21,

I have successfully germinated Lavender seeds by sowing them directly on compost soil. You may lightly cover them with soil, moist it and leave them under bright light. The climate in S'pore is warm and aids the germination process. I got my 1st sprout on the 4th day. The same for Pomegranate seeds. Hope this helps. Happy gardening!

The only one I have experience with doing from seeds is lavandar and it might just be me but I had NO luck at all. I tried three years in a row with three different techniques. No luck. I ended buying a couple of plants and they are doing fine.

Did you get any results on your asparagus and rhubarb since posting this? I am being ambitious this year and planting both of these. Any advice you may have will be greatly appreciated. If you haven't done it yet, I can let you know how mine do!
