I was given a little pink blooming dogwood. I beleive that is what he is. You see he was given to me by the conservation department for free. When I recieved him I ws given about twenty trees of various brands. this little guy was in a ziplock all by himself. He is the one my kids chose to keep. The rest were given out to other garden club memebers. None of us own our own homes. We live in an income based housinf=g community.Thsee are our trees of hope. Hope to have our own home to place these trees in the gorund there.
My question is can Sam the alleged dogwood stay in the pot outside? do I bring our very much loved one inside? Where will he be most happy for the Missouri winter? Please save Sam!!! My kids just love him.

Just to be sure, a pic would be great for an ID. As long as the pot is a decent size you can view outside trees as being as safe as they were in the ground. Sam will be fine for the winter, I bonsai so have little bitty pots that I overwinter. Since my little trees are in very small pots what I do is find the most protected spot I have to place them. A pic would be great so we can be sure that Sam is a dogwood!
